By the numbers
In its first two years since opening, the Vancouver Island Conference Centre has delivered 1,000 events and hosted more than 75,000 delegates. Our 38,000-sq.ft. meeting and banquet space is ideal for conferences, tradeshows, weddings and other events for up to 1,300 people. The Mount Benson Ballroom (13,697 sq. ft.) and Dodd Narrows Room (2,658 sq.ft.) are our two largest meeting spaces.
Born to serve
Service is paramount at VICC, and proof is in this Nanaimo convention centre’s multiple awards. Planners walk in and know their event will be flawless. But VICC is more than just a meeting space. Since opening we’ve worked with economic development groups to support the rebuilding of downtown. And our sustainable practices help protect it.
