The Vancouver Island Conference Centre is located at 101 Gordon Street in Nanaimo. We’re downtown at the corner of Commercial St. and Gordon St.
By Ferry
BC Ferries provides passenger and vehicle service to Nanaimo from Vancouver’s Horseshoe Bay (1 hr., 40 min.) terminal and Tsawwassen (2 hrs.) terminal. Ferries arrive in Departure Bay (5 min. from VICC) and Duke Point (20 min. from VICC). Taxi, bus and shuttle services are available at terminals. Other ferry services, with 90-minute to 3-hour crossing times, link various points in Washington State with Victoria or nearby Sidney, BC.

Harbour Air provides service from Vancouver Harbour (20 min.) and Vancouver International Airport (YVR) (20 min.) to Nanaimo Harbour, docking 2 blocks from VICC. Seair offers service between YVR (15 min.) and its Departure Bay terminal, which is less than a five-minute drive from VICC. Tofino Air offers 12 flights daily to and from Nanaimo Harbour and Vancouver Harbour.
By Commercial Flight
Air Canada runs 20-minute flights from Vancouver International Airport to Nanaimo Airport, located 15 minutes from VICC. Westjet Airlines offers connecting flights from Calgary International Airport to Comox Valley Airport (1.5 hrs. from VICC). Various US and Canadian airlines fly into Victoria International Airport (2 hrs. from VICC). Taxi, bus and shuttle services are available at terminals.
Parking info
A 300-space underground parking garage provides quick and easy access to the Vancouver Island Convention Centre. The parkade entrance is located at Gordon St. and Museum Way.
