Directions

The Vancouver Island Conference Centre is located in downtown Nanaimo where Gordon Street intersects with the Trans-Canada Hwy/Hwy 1/Terminal Avenue near Commercial Street.

For parking garage access, follow Gordon Street one block to Museum Way.

Loading dock access is on Gordon Street.

From the South – Nanaimo Airport (15 min)

Head north (right) on Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 North to city centre
Continue onto Nicol St.
Continue onto Terminal Ave.
Turn right at Gordon St.
Arrive at VICC, on left corner at 101 Gordon St.

From the North – Comox Valley Airport (1.5 hrs)

Head west on Knight Rd. in Comox
At roundabout, continue straight to stay on Knight Rd.
Turn left at Anderton Rd.
Turn right at Comox Ave.
Turn left at W Island Hwy/BC-19 Alt S
Turn left at Cliffe Ave./W Island Hwy/BC-19 Alt South
Turn right at Tsable Rd.
Take the 1st left onto Inland Island Hwy/BC-19 South to Nanaimo
Turn left at Jingle Pot Rd. in Nanaimo (signs for Jingle Pot Rd./City Centre)
Continue onto 3rd St.
Continue onto Fitzwilliam St.
Continue onto Bastion St.
Turn right at Front St.
Turn right at Museum Way
Turn left at Gordon St.
Arrive at VICC, on right at 101 Gordon St.

From the South – Victoria International Airport (2 hrs.)

Head southeast on Electra Blvd. toward Convair Pl. in Central Saanich
Turn left at Willingdon Rd.
At roundabout, take the 1st exit onto E Saanich Rd.
Turn left at McTavish Rd.
Turn right at Patricia Bay Hwy/BC-17 South
Take exit 11 toward Royal Oak Dr/BC-17A North
Keep right at fork, follow signs for Camosun College/Technology Park
Merge onto Royal Oak Dr/BC-17A North
Continue onto Wilkinson Rd.
Continue onto Helmcken Rd.
Take the Trans-Canada Highway/BC-1 North to Nanaimo city centre
Continue onto Nicol St.
